Pet-Friendly Rules for Your Stay

We’re excited to welcome you and your furry friends to our home! To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay for everyone, we kindly ask you to follow these pet-friendly guidelines:

  • Dogs Only: We love all animals, but we’re only able to host dogs at the moment.
  • Maximum of 2 Dogs: To keep things cozy, we have a limit of two dogs per booking. There is a charge of $125 per dog.
  • House-Trained Pups Only: For the comfort of all guests, we ask that your dog(s) be house-trained.
  • Dogs Must Be Crated When Alone: If you leave the property without your dog(s), please make sure they’re safely crated during your absence.
  • Noise & Behavior: To keep the neighborhood happy, please ensure your dog(s) are not noisy, aggressive, or disruptive. If any concerns arise, we kindly ask that you address them immediately.
  • Clean-Up Duty: Please clean up after your dog(s) and dispose of waste promptly in designated trash areas.
  • Damage Responsibility: We trust that your furry friends are well-behaved, but if any damages occur, the booker agrees to cover the cost of repairs or replacements.
  • Hot Tub Restriction: For health and safety reasons, dogs are not allowed in the hot tub.
  • Laundry Care: Please avoid placing dog beds or similar items in the washer or dryer.
  • Local Laws: Please adhere to all local leash laws, licensing requirements, and ordinances.
We truly appreciate your cooperation! A $250 fee may apply for each infraction of these rules, so thank you for helping us maintain a pet-friendly environment for all guests.

A Few Important Things to Note

  • Maximum Capacity: The cabin sleeps up to 10 guests and allows for a maximum of 4 vehicles.
  • Mountain Roads: No steep roads here! The 2-mile drive to the cabin is smooth and easy to manage, even for larger vehicles.
  • Hot Tub Rules: Guests must be 18+ or supervised by an adult to use the hot tub. Please avoid alcohol near the hot tub and use at your own risk.
  • Safety Cameras: For your safety, outdoor security cameras are in place. Tampering with these devices is not permitted.
  • Rental Agreement: A signed rental agreement is required to confirm your reservation. This helps ensure a smooth and secure experience for both parties.
  • Wildlife: Our cabin is tucked away in the woods, offering a peaceful mountain escape surrounded by nature. Because of the natural setting, you may hear or see some local wildlife. The cabin has a roof with no attic, so sounds like rain or the occasional squirrel on the roof may be more noticeable. It's all part of the cozy, close-to-nature experience! We also perform monthly pest control, but due to the forest setting, insects may occasionally find their way inside, especially during certain seasons. This is a normal part of being in the mountains, and we appreciate your understanding as we balance comfort with the natural environment. While bear sightings are rare, they are a possibility in this area. If you do happen to see one, whether in the park or near the cabin, please enjoy it from a safe distance and do not feed it. For your safety and theirs, it’s best to admire wildlife without interaction..
  • Early and Late Checkouts: We do our best to accommodate requests but are dependent on our cleaning team’s schedule. Requests must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Unapproved late checkouts will be charged $50 per hour, rounded up to the next full hour.
  • No Open Flames or Candles: For the safety of all guests and our property, open flames of any kind, including candles, are strictly prohibited. A $100 fee will be charged if this rule is violated, plus the cost of any damages incurred.
  • No Parties: To maintain a peaceful environment for all guests and neighbors, parties and large gatherings are not permitted. Quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM—please keep noise to a minimum after this time.

The house sits down in a hole which from the pictures it did not look like that at all and the driveway is hilly so we backed in under the carpet (which is nice)so we could just get in car and go. The yard is also hilly not much level ground was kinda tricky for a blind, deaf dog but we made it work. The house was spacious, and fully equipped with all cooking supplies, we cooked breakfast every morning with no issues. Well stocked on soap, shampoo, conditioner etc. Beds was comfy, Tv's in all bedrooms which is nice. The bathroom was huge but the toilet seat moved alot when sitting on it. We had a problem with the lighting in the master bathroom and told Katie about it and the handy lady came out the next day and fixed the issue. The chandelier in the dining room was not that bright so it's kinda dark at the table. The spiral staircase is a tight space, kinda hard to maneuver on them. The acorns would fall off frequently hitting the roof in the living room which was ignoring and loud at times, could not hear them in any other rooms. They would hit the ground and bounce up and hit our vehicle. I had to be careful when outside with my blind, deaf dog also from the acorns bouncing and almost hitting us. We did not sit out on back deck due to couches and firepit was covered, we did not want to have to uncover & recovering it also not sure if we would get hit by all the acorns falling. Mosquito was bad, I used Off and it did not work. It's off Wears Valley Rd and the road is not all that step but is widening and have to be careful when you meet a car. Its close to activities, Dollywood, etc. Overall nice place love the look of the wood on the inside of house and that it was well stocked of supplies. We did not see any bears but did see many different cats daily.
